Beal na Blath Commemoration

The annual commemoration of the death of General Michael Collins at the ambush site in Beal Na Blath will take place on Sunday 23rd of August. Former President of Ireland and UN High Commissioner for Human Rights, Mary Robinson, will be giving this year’s oration. The commemoration ceremony is due to begin at 1PM, Sunday 23rd August 2009, at the monument.
