Bengour Harvest Festival

The 20th Annual Bengour Harvest Festival will take place on Sunday next (2oth of September). The festival raises much needed funds for Cancer Research and Treatment. Proceeds to Cork Cancer Research Centre, St. Patrick’s Marymount Hospice and ACT, Cork University Hospital.

Official opening will be at 2.30PM by the legendary Seán Ó Sé. Threshing, Vintage Bar, Arts and Crafts, Macra Field Day and more! And don’t forget – we’ll have a big screen for all you GAA fans to watch the Cork Kerry All-Ireland Final. See you there….

    Is this the same Seán Ó Sé who tours Britain with CCE – a great singer (As Bearla agus As Gaeilge) and story teller? My branch of CCE (Johnny Doherty) organises this tour every year. I would love to come over for this Festival next year.

      Yes, this is the same fellow, a good friend of mine. I also play music for a living & Seán & myself have shared stages many times. He’s a wonderful character. He was absolutely super on the day of our Harvest Festival, adding greatly to the occasion.
